This small butterfly is a new arrival to the Parkland Walk (2026) and so far only spotted in the Wildlife Trail. It would normally only be found on chalk and limestone grassland but its appearance here is thought to be connected to a dietary shift towards geranium. Although brown in colour with wings open, its underwings reveal it is oart of the family of blues.
