Volunteers meet every Wednesday morning all year round to maintain and develop the site. New volunteers are most welcome, no expertise required, and the group nearly always chills out at the Cool Carrot cafe on the Archway Road after the session. More information can be found on the Wildlife Trail webpage.
This should complete the meadow cut. We'll push back the bramble as far as possible and plant some Bird's Foot Trefoil which used to be prevalent in the past and should attract more butterflies. The meadow is between Stapleton Hall Road and Upper Tollington Park. The meeting point is Stapleton Hall Road Bridge near N4 3QF
We'll be clearing brambles and removing tree saplings from the 'bowl' in front of tunnels at the Highgate end to keep the area functioning as a glade and making the bank ready for spring growth.
